The Armenian Union of Switzerland (UAS) is proud to invite you to the 26th edition of the Euro Armenian Games (EAG), which will take place in Geneva, from April 3 to 6, 2026.

We will be delighted to welcome you to this European sporting event, where passion, competition, and friendship will come together to create unforgettable moments.

Registrations will be open from December 1st, 2025 to January 15, 2026.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to take part in exciting competitions, share memorable moments with participants from all over Europe, and experience once again the team spirit and camaraderie that make the EAG so special.

Beyond the sport itself, these Games are a celebration of our Armenian roots and the values that unite us : fraternity, solidarity, perseverance, and pride in our shared heritage.

As the number of participants is limited, we kindly ask you to confirm your participation as soon as possible.

1st deadline payment (50%) is January 15, 2026, last registration and payment of the 50% balance deadline is February 28, 2026.

We remind that each sports team, individual athlete or guest must register through an official Armenian organization in their respective cities. Registrations outside will not be permitted.

Friday, April 3, 2026 (Arrival and participant welcome)

Daytime: Registration for the games (Crowne Plaza Hotel) and hotel room check-in (according to each hotel’s schedule)

Afternoon: Guided tour of Geneva organized for participants who have already arrived

20:00: Meeting of delegation representatives (maximum 2 representatives per delegation)

Evening: Free time

Saturday, April 4, 2026 (1st day of the tournament)

Daytime: Sports tournaments (Bout-du-Monde Stadium)

Evening: Dance party (Crowne Plaza Hotel)

The Saturday dinner, offered in the form of a buffet in the reception hall of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, will celebrate the first day of the EAG, a moment always rich in emotions. It will be the ideal opportunity to meet, exchange and fully enjoy the evening, between conviviality and festivities. Everyone will be able to express their dancing talents and let themselves be carried away by the atmosphere.

For this special occasion, a renowned Armenian DJ will liven up the evening, bringing a unique and communicative energy to the event.

Sunday, April 5, 2026 (2nd and final day of the tournament)

Daytime: Sports tournaments (Bout-du-Monde Stadium), Easter Sunday Mass (optional, morning)

Afternoon: Finals and Closing & Award Ceremony

Evening: Gala dinner (Crowne Plaza Hotel)

The Sunday evening gala dinner promises to be a truly exceptional moment. We have prepared an elegant and memorable event, with a three-course meal served at the table in the reception hall of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. To elevate the evening, a professional Armenian music group will accompany us with enchanting melodies that will create a warm, emotional, and festive atmosphere. Their performance will make this night a unique and lasting experience.

Monday, April 6, 2026 (Participant departures)

Hotel check-out until 12:00 am

Important: We invite all coaches and delegation leaders to join a virtual meeting on : Monday, March 30 at 8:00 PM, during which we will answer questions related to the organization of the sports tournament and sport rules, and carry out the draw. The draw will be broadcast live, and a recording will be published afterwards. All draw results will be posted on the event website. More details will be communicated well before the event.

Tournament Sports & Regulations

The 26th EAG will include the following sports disciplines:

Team sports

• Futsal (Men/Women, 14 years old and over) 8 players + 1 coach maximum
• Volleyball (Mixed, 14 years and older) 10 players + 1 coach maximum
• Basketball (Men/Women, 14 years old and over) 10 players + 1 coach maximum

Individual sports

• Table tennis (Men/Women, 12 years and older)
• Badminton (Men/Women, 12 years and older)
• Chess (Mixed, 12 years and older)
• Backgammon (Mixed, 12 years and older)

Important information: 

Badminton and table tennis may include a doubles tournament, depending on the final number of participants. Will be announced prior to the start of the Games.

EAGs allow the participation of one non-Armenian player per team for collective sports only.

The number of participants is limited for each sport. It is important to consult the rules of each discipline on the EAG website : www.euroarmeniangames.eu/sport

Participation Packages & Fees

In order for everyone to participate in the tournament in the best conditions, we have chosen to offer two accommodation options:

• The Crowne Plaza 4★ Hotel, which offers a large capacity of rooms as well as a superb reception room for the Saturday evening and the Sunday gala.
• The Nash Airport 4★ Hotel, located just a 5 minute walk from the Crowne Plaza with a lower rate.

As the number of rooms at Nash Airport is limited, we thank you for choosing this property for people for whom the first accommodation would be a budgetary constraint or for families with children.

First registrations will have a better chance of having their preferences respected.

• Hotel: 3 nights in a triple room for 2 adults and 1 child, or 3 nights in two connecting double rooms for 2 adults and 2 children

Important information about the Crowne Plaza Hotel: 

The price for packages 1 and 2 corresponds to the occupancy of a room for two people, either with a double bed or with two single beds (twin). Please indicate your preference, we will respect it as far as availability allows.

Single room supplement: + 200 CHF or + 215 €

Children: Free for children under 3 years old. Baby cot available upon request

Tourist tax: not included to be paid directly to the hotel: CHF 3.75 or €4 per person per night

Check-in: 4pm on Friday and check-out 12pm on Monday

Deposit: A credit card per room will be requested by the hotel. The EAG accepts no responsibility for any damage to the rooms or the property.

Parking: for participants coming by car, a preferential rate has been negotiated: 12 CHF (13 €) per day. Please indicate at reception that you are part of the UAS EAG 2026 group in order to benefit from this rate.

2/ Nash Airport Hotel

The 4* Nash Airport hotel stands out by offering a modern style and a competitive rate.

Separate entrances only to the Saturday and Sunday social events may be announced later. These tickets depend on the remaining available places as participants with the above packages will have priority.

Travel & Practical Information

Geneva Cointrin Airport offers quick access to the main European capitals and serves many international destinations. Regular airlines such as Swiss, Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, British Airways serve the airport as well as low-cost airlines such as Easyjet and Vueling.

The Geneva Cornavin station connects Swiss stations but also some international stations such as Paris, Milan or Munich.

A free pass to travel on Geneva’s public transport for the duration of your stay will be given to you on request upon arrival at the hotel.

How to Get There

o Transfer arranged by the hotel

Crowne Plaza Hotel and Nash Airport offer free airport transfers. Confirmation of your flight must be provided in advance in order to arrange your pick-up. A UAS EAG 2026 team will be waiting for you at the finish to direct you to the shuttle.

o on foot from the airport

Crowne Plaza: approx. 900 metres – 12 minutes walk

Nash Airport: approx. 750 metres – 10 minutes walk

o by bus from the airport

From the airport, take line 10 in the direction of Genève Rive. Get off 3 stops later, about 4 minutes at Meyrin, De Joinville station.

o By car

To drive on motorways in Switzerland (green signs), you must have the vignette, which costs 40 CHF (43 euros) and is valid for 1 year. Otherwise, you will have to take the other roads (blue signs). The vignette can be purchased online https://via.admin.ch/shop/dashboard, at customs when arriving in Switzerland or at a petrol station. The addresses and GPS coordinates of the hotels and the sports centre are given above.

o For people coming by train from Geneva Cornavin station

Take bus line 10 in the direction of Genève aéroport. Get off 9 stops later, about 15 minutes at the Meyrin, De Joinville stop. The hotel will be 50 meters away in the same street.

The Euro Armenian Games Geneva 2026 reserve the right to modify or cancel any sporting event in the event of insufficient registrations.

The Euro Armenian Games Geneva 2026 reserve the right to limit the number of teams registered in each sport.

The Euro Armenian Games Geneva 2026 place great importance on fair play and, therefore, the rules and guidelines of all sports must be adhered to throughout the tournament. These rules are available on the official EAG website.

All participants must be covered by health and accident insurance.

The Euro Armenian Games Geneva 2026 declines all responsibility for any damage occurring on or near the sports venue. The costs incurred by damages will be charged to the person and/or the group leader.

Disqualification and exclusion of future participants may be considered.

The Euro Armenian Games Geneva 2026 accepts no responsibility for any theft, loss or damage of personal properties.
